Installing the Free Plugin

  • Download from WordPress.org (available soon), or upload the ZIP file manually through WordPress Admin.
  • Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, select the ZIP file, and click Install Now.
  • Click Activate Plugin after installation.
  • WooCommerce must be installed and active before activating the plugin.
If WooCommerce is not active, the plugin will display a notice in WordPress admin and will not run.

Installing the Pro Add-on Pro

Pro is a separate add-on that extends the Free plugin with scheduled discounts and automation.

  • The Free plugin must be installed and active before installing Pro.
  • Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, select the Pro ZIP file, and click Install Now.
  • Click Activate Plugin after installation.
  • After activation, the Schedule tab becomes available in RUDEO Price Rules Manager.

Bulk Price Change

  • Select a product group: filter by category, tag, or attribute.
  • Choose an action: apply a discount, markup, or clear the sale price.
  • Use Preview to review affected products before applying changes.
  • Apply changes in batches to avoid timeouts on large catalogs.

Preview

Preview shows all affected products and their new prices before any changes are saved to your store. Use it to confirm the rule is configured correctly and the results match your expectations before applying.

History & Rollback

After applying a bulk price change, the plugin saves a history entry with the details of that operation. You can review previous changes at any time and roll back any entry to restore the prices that were in place before that change was applied.

CSV Export

CSV export saves the list of affected products and their price changes to a file you can open outside WordPress. Use it to keep a record, share results with a team, or verify changes before or after applying them.

Diagnostics & Debug Report

The Diagnostics tab shows plugin settings, environment details, and information useful for troubleshooting. The debug report can be included when contacting support to help identify issues quickly.

The debug report does not include passwords, API keys, or private credentials.

Pro: Scheduled Discounts Pro

The Pro add-on extends the plugin with automated scheduling. Once a schedule is active, price rules run without manual intervention.

  • Scheduled discounts — set start and end dates for price rules
  • Night discounts — apply price rules during specified overnight hours
  • Weekend discounts — automatically activate rules on weekends
  • WP-Cron automation — schedules run via the WordPress cron system
  • Manual Start / Stop — override or pause any active schedule at any time
  • Schedule logs — track when each rule ran and what changed
  • Rule stacking control — manage how multiple active schedules interact
